Warranty Information

At Florida Watch Exchange, we want every client to feel confident when purchasing a luxury timepiece. That’s why we back all of our watches (excluding vintage wristwatches) with a one-year limited service warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise noted on the invoice.

What’s Covered

  • Mechanical and automatic watches are covered for defects in movement and workmanship during the warranty period.
  • An optional two-year extended warranty is available at an additional charge.

What’s Not Covered

  • Vintage wristwatches, quartz watches, straps, and accessories.
  • Bands, batteries, crystals (scratched, cracked, or broken), and water damage.
  • Normal wear and tear, or damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse (knocks, dents, crushing, etc.).
  • Any repair, modification, or service performed by a non-authorized technician (this voids the warranty).

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If something goes wrong with a covered watch, here is exactly what happens:

  1. Call us at (305) 345-6669 before sending in your watch, and tell us what’s happening with it.
  2. Have your original invoice or proof of purchase on hand. The one-year warranty period is calculated from the purchase date on that invoice, unless it states otherwise.
  3. We’ll confirm the issue is a defect in movement or workmanship (see What’s Covered above) rather than wear, damage, or a prior outside repair, which are excluded.
  4. If the claim qualifies, we’ll give you instructions for sending the watch to our authorized service center. Repairs performed anywhere else void the warranty.
  5. If your watch is instead still covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty, we’ll handle the claim through the authorized dealer on your behalf, including arranging and covering shipping within the United States where applicable.

  • Provider: This warranty is provided solely by Florida Watch Exchange and is not a manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Transferability: Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.
